Kim Taylor
Hi! Thanks for visiting my website. My name's Kim and I set myself up as an independent leadership and management trainer, facilitator and coach at the start of 2025. I've been working in learning and development both in-house and as an external provider for over 10 years and I love the different directions that my career has taken me in, from big blue chip companies to education to leading programmes for global banks and consultancies, retail, leisure and tourism businesses to charities and the NHS.
For me, happiness at work comes down to the people you work with and the quality and depth of the interactions people have with one another. My training and coaching programmes offer individuals and organisations the opportunity to make the most of those interactions to deliver results, whether it's by leading effectively through change, discovering personal and team strengths or having high quality conversations. One size doesn't fit all when it comes to leadership - during my programmes and sessions, I will get to know your organisation and your participants as individuals and help them to unlock their leadership potential, in their own unique way.

06/2021 - 10/2024 - Multiverse
Senior Coach
Led cohorts of apprentices of all ages and experience levels through a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Team Leadership and early career professionals through a Level 6 Degree Apprenticeship in Technology Consulting. Designed and delivered workshops, group coaching sessions and specialist resources for individuals and supported the development of other coaches across the business.

Learning Consultant
Designed and delivered personal and professional development sessions including handling conflict, stakeholder management, time management, wellbeing and presentation skills.

Senior Learning Partner
Led the learning strategy for the BT Business Customer Service division, including implementing a large-scale training programme across multiple sites, covering over 1500 call centre agents, team leads and centre managers to improve customer satisfaction and employee engagement.
01/2019 - 06/2021 - Ark Schools
Learning & Development Manager
Led the National Professional Qualification for Middle Leadership (NPQML) and supported the NPQ for Senior Leadership, improving pass rates from 56% to 82% within two years. I was also responsible for non-specialist training for operational teams, including the first-time line manager programme.
09/2015 - 08/2017 - Ark Globe Academy
Business Studies Teacher
As part of the Teach First graduate programme, I re-trained to be a teacher, completing my PGCE with QTS while learning on the job. I taught Business Studies at GCSE and Levels 2 and 3 BTEC and was a form tutor to 20 Year 7 students.
